where have the trees gone?

gone to furniture, or pulp for paper, I would guess. This is a national park in the mountains outside of Dublin, Ireland. There were quite a few spots that were laid to waste for timber, although it appears as if they manage these areas fairly well..............still sad to see. In the background on the left side of the pic you can faintly see a large waterfall........pics of that later!!
